- ez nem János 2. levele, hanem egy másik János első levele
- másoknak is van "istene", nem csak a keresztényeknek. Minden vallásnak van LEGALÁBB egy isten(nőj)e.
- "János" ha esetleg ugyanaz a szerző lenne mint aki 1Jánost írta, akkor az lenne a probléma, hogy 1János alapján annak szerzője hamis próféta.

- if it'd be the work of the author of 1John (who is not named in the text itself) we had to throw this out as the author of 1John is a false prophet
